Drop Zone 03:14
You took the time to become everything you thought you hated You walked a path to things that In the past left you frustrated You never saw the road block that stopped you is what you cling to most Tuck and roll when you hit the ground Lift your head and see what kept you afloat I don’t believe I know you any more I don’t believe we’ve met Things play the way they did before But now there’s a brand new script You sold yourself out so that you could bask within the limelight You forgot your friends and decided to leave who you were behind You never saw the road block that stopped you is what you cling to most Tuck and roll when you hit the ground Raise your head and continue the boast I don’t believe I know you any more I don’t believe we’ve met Things play the way they did before But now there’s a brand new script

Every Day 03:44
I’m stepping out I’m wearing out again I won’t back down I’m searching for A sheltered home We won’t be caged tonight When the sun sets low You won’t be out alone We’ll find the will to fight Tonight When the moon hangs high We’ll shelter out of sight Away from all their eyes It’s every day survival We’re climbing up We pull ourselves above The world where no one hears We cry for help No hands are sent our way We must be strong and live tonight When the sun sets low You won’t be out alone We’ll find the will to fight Tonight When the moon hangs high We’ll shelter out of sight Away from all their eyes Maybe you and me Is all we need Maybe you and me can break cycle It's every day survival

Oceans 04:09
Crashed on the sofa with a headache like a bomb The spinning room reminds you only what you’ve done Forget your name just as the hour hand crosses 5 So say your prayers and thank the gods you’re still alive Stains on your jeans to tell a story when you wake Was it the fourth drink or the sixth the big mistake? Collapsing ceilings every time you close your eyes So say your prayers and thank the gods you’re still alive Arms are heavy And legs are bruised Ego dented Id on the loose Evaluating Decisions in life It comes in waves And there’s nowhere to hide Just 7 hours from your memory erased What was a freedom keeps you static like a cage You know tomorrow everything will be all right For now you say your prayers and thank the gods you’re still alive Arms are heavy And legs are bruised Ego dented Id on the loose Evaluating Decisions in life It comes in waves And there’s nowhere to hide Arms are heavy And legs are bruised Ego dented Id on the loose Evaluating Decisions in life It comes in waves And there’s nowhere to hide

A Garden 04:55
Take your hands And raise them high Let them climb you To the sky Use my back To hold your feet Just don’t leave me Underneath Ascend the wall To see the spire Let your face feel Warmth from light Find your way Into the halls Relieve the king Of his control You made it now You’re at the top And no one knows your name You’ve built the world Into your dream Somehow it’s still the same You’ve done it all Or so they say The details remain vague A garden of Stability Now levelled by your plague Take your guns And point them down Put your peers in the ground You fought for right And what is just To see the farms All turned to dust Help your kin Is what you said With countless legions Of them dead The hearts and minds You bought and sold To be the king With his control You made it now You’re at the top And no one knows your name You’ve built the world Into your dream Somehow it’s still the same You’ve done it all Or so they say The details remain vague A garden of Stability Now levelled by your plague

about

Debut EP by British "bass metal" band Firehive!

Inspired by artists like Pendulum, The Qemists, Modestep, and Infected Mushroom, Firehive [named for the premier banger by Knife Party] decided to create something that has the vibes and power of electronic genres such as Drum n Bass, Dubstep, and House, but with the ferocity and aggression of Death Metal.

Exploring ideas such as personal displacement, hangovers, and the frustration that can come with human relationships, this EP represents a step towards personal understnading of the difficult times in which we live.

Open up this pit!
